The approach to the BA course is very professional. Although the course content is to the point, it covers all relevant fundamental concepts so that the participants are not left behind. Since the overall structure of the course is very practical, particularly software engineering methodologies, requirement gathering and use case writing techniques, it helps the participants to prepare themselves according to the market requirement and train them to face interviews. The practical experience and knowledge of the instructors were a big plus for me because it helped me groom myself for the real world. I had enrolled in Requirements Incs online training course (Apr-May 07') at my employer's recommendation. Initially I was very apprehensive about enrolling in an online training class, but the instructor's effective style of communication and thorough understanding of the subject put me at ease. The training I received provided me with hands on experience with skills that are critical to being a successful business analyst. I had already worked as a junior systems analyst for a couple of years, but had never had any official training in SQL, object oriented analysis and design, and the Rational Unified Process and related tools. During the class, we went over OOAD, SQL, Rational tools such as Clear Case and Requisite Pro, and most importantly, how to write effective use cases and pull together UML diagrams.
